Half Shell's three members met in college over a decade ago. Now, living and working in the Northeast U.S., they somehow still pull off rehearsing and cranking out experimental new tunes. Combining progressive rock, alternative rock, and electronic music, female-fronted power trio Half Shell is both existential and grim while delivering catchy, upbeat tunes. The band released their debut album "Truly Tragic" in October 2018, and just released their sophomore effort in February 2023, a thirteen-track concept album entitled, "The Great Truth."
